Hey guys,
Did you have a good weekend? I am ready to tackle this week with gusto and here’s hoping I manage just that and more! Tell me all about your weekend as I didn’t do much besides catch up on that to-do list and getting some guinea pigs!!!!! I know, that is very exciting. They are so cute I can’t wait for them to be 100% comfortable.
I can’t believe it is already week 37 of the #52weeknailchallenge from Polish Portfolio. The weeks seem to be flying past. This challenge is similar to the 31 Day challenge except this is one prompt for every week of the year. You can share yours on any day of the week as long as it falls within the week. Here is the list of prompts and you can use #52weeknailchallenge to keep track of any posts. I hope you’ll join in.
The prompt this week is flowers and I love flowers. I seem to have suddenly gotten a million stamping plates with flowers lately. So let me show you what I did.
I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Snow me white on all my nails and left that to dry completely. While it was drying I started making the decal on my ring finger. I stamped using Lina Spring 1 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I then coloured in the flowers using China Glaze – Spring jungle (green), China Glaze – Chalk me up! (blue), China Glaze – Casual friday (yellow) and China Glaze – That’ll peach you (peachy orange). I left that to dry and then I used the same colours and did a stamped smoosh on the rest of my nails. I then applied the decal to my ring finger and stamped the same image with Mundo de Unas – White on the smoosh nails. I topcoated everything and that was that.
What do you think? I liked the decal on my ring finger and I wasn’t sure of the smoosh and the stamping on the rest. Once again, the more I looked at it the more I liked it. The polishes are all from the China Glaze – Pastels collection. I wanted to swatch them but I ran out of time but I will definitely show you more of them really soon. So let me know what you think and let me know of other flower ideas I can use in the future, considering how much I love flowers 😀
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
Hehe, for me it’s the other way around. I love the smooshed and stamped nails and the decal grew on me the longer I looked at the picture 🙂

Yay! Thank you so much. I love that. Don’t you find it interesting how we all love nails yet have different styles. Even though it is all pretty we are drawn to different things first. So interesting.
