52 week nail art challenge – Week 43: Blue

Hey hello,

Yay for Monday and the start of a new week! Did you have a good weekend?  What did you get up to? I am excited to get cracking on a new week.  It really feels like the countdown to holiday season at the moment.  Did you know there are only 8 Mondays left till Christmas?  Isn’t that insane?

It’s week #43 of the #52weeknailchallenge from Polish Portfolio.  This challenge is similar to the 31 Day challenge except  this is one prompt for every week of the year. You can share yours on any day of the week as long as it falls within the week.  Here is the list of prompts and you can use #52weeknailchallenge to keep track of any posts. I hope you’ll join in.

The prompt this week is Blue and of course, I tried to use all blue.  Let me show you,

I started with 2 coats of ILNP – Aria and left that to dry completely. I then stamped on my ring and middle finger using Lina – Twirls and swirls -1 plate with the solid image and Mundo de Unas – Iris.  I then stamped over that using the swirly flower image on the same plate and Mundo de Unas – Sky blue.  On my pinky and index I stamped the same swirly flower image with Mundo de Unas – Turquoise. I topcoated and viola!

What do you think? I am obsessed with this stamping plate (I just got it a few days ago) and the ILNP holo is breathtaking.  I’ve noticed when I use these ILNP holos my camera loses it’s mind from all the shiny.  It’s absolutely gorgeous.  Let me show you some swatches of

ILNP – Aria

This is 2 coats with no topcoat  It’s a beautiful sky blue linear holo with a stunning formula and opacity.  I am going to try stamping with it next. I love this!
