Happy Monday. Did you have a good weekend? Did you survive the Black Friday chaos? I did not even go anywhere the whole weekend except for a quick run to the local store for necessities. It’s also been nice cool weather which has been fabulous for just relaxing. What did you get up to?
It is week #48 of the #52weeknailchallenge from Polish Portfolio That means after this week we only have 4 prompts left. This challenge is similar to the 31 Day challenge except this is one prompt for every week of the year. You can share yours on any day of the week as long as it falls within the week. OK, onto the prompt for today. Neon. I knew almost immediately what I wanted to do for this prompt and all that was left to do was hold thumbs it would work. Let me show you what I did.
I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Black on black and left that to dry completely. I then stamped using the butterflies from Lina – Spring 01 and some neon stamping polishes. I used Mundo de Unas – Banana Split (yellow), Barbie (Pink), Turquoise (blue) and Avocado (green). I topcoated and that was that.
What do you think? I know this is stupid easy and simple but I really really love the effect of the bright colours on the black and I especially love these butterfly images. Do you think it works for neon? This is such a broad prompt and can be interpreted in so many way. Who doesn’t love some neon nail art right? I hope you have a fantastic week!
