Happy Friday! Even though this was such a short week it felt like a reeaaaaaallllyyy long walk from Wednesday to Friday 😉 How was your week? Do you have any weekend plans? We are actually off to watch Avengers this weekend and I am really excited to just relax for a bit and do nothing. Have you seen it yet?
I showed you the beautiful The island of misfit toys collection the other day and I don’t know about you but that red just completely wow’d me. I knew that I wanted to use it again soon. When I emailed about the collection I also noticed that Dolly had listed some polishes she found on the facebook group and one of them was a long time lemming of mine, Squirrel!! I immediately snatched it up. Once I got the fantastic Stiletto vinyls from Because I Shop I knew exactly what I had to do. I had to combine these 3. Let me show you what I did,
I started with 2 coats of Dollish Polish – Why am I such a misfit? and left that to dry completely. I then used the stiletto vinyls and went over it with 2 coats of Dollish Polish – Squirrel!!!, making sure to remove the vinyl immediately after I was done and the polish wasn’t dry. I kinda like dit but it needed something so I grabbed my thin nail art brush with Nubar – Noir and made a thin black line where the red and nude met. I topcoated and voila!
My initial reaction was that I really loved it. Then I started to get some wonder woman vibes. Then someone mentioned iron man and I was a goner. I wasn’t sure if I still liked it. I kept it to post because I really liked the polishes and the stiletto vinyls (although I could’ve changed up the colours for this purpose) and also, I made the black line freehand and I am super duper proud of myself for how well I did it. It’s by no means perfect, but it is not too shabby. What do you think? Is it too super hero-esque or does it look ok? Let me show you this polish though
Dollish Polish – Squirrel!!!
This is 2 coats with topcoat. It is a nude holo with a stunning formula. It leans a little gold in some light but it is definitely more nude and the holo is just stunning! I have been lusting after this polish for so long I can almost not believe I now have it. I’ve worn it twice and both times I walk around staring at my nails. It’s absolutely gorgeous.

Ohhh, these colors are beautiful! I can definitely see the Iron Man reference… hehe, you should have saved it for the Superhero prompt 😉
And you bet I love a nude holo! I’m still looking for the perfect one for my pale skin, with enough pink/peach to not look beige but not so much to make it look pink or peach. Oh well, the search continues 😉

I have Chleo from ILNP and it is SO gorgeous. I have a suspicion it will look perfect on you. I am sure I have another one but can’t for the life of me think of it now.
