Hello lovelies!
Happy Monday! Did you have a good weekend? I had a fantastic visit with my brother and nephew. It was short but awesome. I also got to catch up on a few things on that to-do list so that’s a win. What did you get up to? Ready for the week?
Time for another week of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio. As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.
The prompt this week is scrollwork and I love it! The hardest part was choosing which colours to use together. I think having the Lina twirls & swirls plate has made this prompt not only easy but exciting! Let me show you what I came up with,
I started with 2 coats of OPI – I just can’t cope-acabana on my index and middle nail and 2 coats of LA Girl – Quicksand on my pinky and ring fingers. I left that to dry completely and then I stamped on my index and middle nail using Lina – Twirls & swirls 01 and Mundo de Unas – Fantasy. I topcoated the non textured nails and that was that.
I feel like this was one of those cheat things again. This was just too easy but I actually really wanted to have the bright and contrasting colours. I knew I would stamp and it would be so easy so was hoping the colours would add some va-va-voom. Do you think it did? 😉 I like these colours together and I hope this works. This plate though…..it’s so gorgeous and a must have! What do you think?
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
Nah, it’s not cheating at all. It’s just a way to have a zillion different designs as I can’t think of any person who doesn’t like swirls and curls 🙂
And I’m glad to see you went for demure and tone-on-tone… it totally works 😀
Michelle Roberts
You made me literally laugh out loud. Demure and tone on tone is so me! :P.
Also, couldn’t agree more! Everyone loves swirly curly stuffs!
