Groovy swirls nail art

Hey hi.

Happy Friday!  Did you have a good week?  I am finally starting to feel a bit better and the sniffles are less and less every day so it has been a good week for that alone!  Hopefully I get to catch up on the million things I need to do this weekend. What about you?  Any fun weekend plans?

Welcome to the weekly ‘I had an idea but it went in a totally different direction’ post.  It started off with a polish standing on my desk and a stamping image I really wanted to use.  Throw in a few questions to my ‘support squad’ and here we are.  Let me show you what happened,

I started with 2 coats of Essence – Black is black on my ring and pinky and 2 coats of Ice Box – Miami lights on my middle and index.  While that was drying I stamped using Lina – Totally negative 01 and Mundo de Unas – Black.  I then coloured in every other line in the pattern using Essence – Shade of happiness. I applied these to my index and middle finger and then topcaoted everything.

I really liked this colour combination and I am always fascinated by this stamping image so I figured this was a great time to use it.  I am extremely drawn to mustard colours and I think it went so well with the green to.  I wish I was able to capture more of the holo of Miami Lights but it’s such a beautiful colour anyway.  What do you think?  Does it work?
