The last week of August. Can you believe it? Spring is around the corner and before you know it we will be on Christmas holidays. I am definitely not ready. Did you have a good weekend? I got a bunch of stuff done and my to-do list has shortened quite a bit. Now I can add a bunch more stuff 😀
Time for another week of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio. As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.
The prompt this week is splatter and I got quite excited. Until I actually had to make a colour decision. Oh boy, these decisions are hard to make. I actually had this idea for the Black & white prompt but then I remembered the splatter prompt was coming up so I figured it was a sign to keep it for this. Easy enough right? Let me show you
I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Snow me white and left it to dry completely. I then stamped using Lina – Make your mark 01 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I topcoated and that was the quickest, easiest splatter you’ve ever seen.
I know what you’re thinking. This is way too easy and simple and I have to agree. BUT….isn’t it pretty? I really really like how it looks and I don’t even care that it was so easy and simple to do. I actually really like ‘traditional’ splatter but these plates make it super easy and fun. It doesn’t even all look the same. What do you think? Am I cheating too much?
