52 week nail art challenge – Week 38: Favourite villain

Two post day!  Less talking more posting Michelle 😉

Time for another week of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio.  As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.

The prompt this week is favourite villain and I must be honest, I was just not feeling it.  I had also had a nail break (not like they were super long to begin with) and I suspect coupled with the crazy challenge rush I just was not feeling it.  I had some ideas thrown around for me and eventually one stuck enough for me to do something.  Let me show you what I did,

I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Snow me white on all my nails and left that to dry completely.  I then used tape to section off half of each nail vertically and used Sinful Colors – Black on black on my middle and ring finger and Essence – Fame fatal on my pinky and index making sure to remove the tape immediately.  I used a small dotting tool to make black spots on the other half of my pinky and index and then used a thin nail art brush to make the border around the red on the same nails.  I topcoated everything and that was that.

In case it wasn’t obvious, I used Cruella deville for this.  The black and white represents her hair and of course, the spots are the Dalmatian (fur….gasp!). I feel like she always has the red paired with it right?  Did I mention I really wasn’t feeling this prompt?  Is it obvious?  Did I mess it up?  Let me know what you think and also, what would YOU choose for this prompt?
