Neon scribbles

Hello loveies,

It’s finally Friday – again. Yesterday felt like Monday and Tuesday felt like Friday thanks to the public holiday right in the middle of the week. How fun to have a week cut in half like that. I could get used to that. How has your week been? Any fun weekend plans?

So on Wednesday I showed you nail art that I was feeling very iffy about. I just couldn’t get the idea in my head to translate well to my nails. I was very unsure about it in general. Today though, it’s the opposite. It turned out exactly how I imagined (if not a bit better) and I really like it. Let me show you,

I started with 2 coats of Morgan Taylor – Shock therapy on my index and pinky. I then did an angled sponge gradient on my middle and ring finger using Morgan Taylor – Don’t worry, be brilliant, Morgan Taylor – Pink flame-ingo and Morgan Taylor – Shock therapy. Once it was all dry, I double stamped over it using Lina – Make your mark 04 and first Mundo de Unas – White and then Mundo de Unas – Black. I topcoated and tan-dah!

I really like how this came out. I love the bright colours and the gradient and I think the stamping also makes it pop. What do you think? Does it work? Who says neons are only for summer right?
