Hey guys,
Yup, another post for another comparison.
So I just told you about how much I like comparisons and that I got some requests after showing you the China Glaze The arrangement collection. I like to keep them in separate posts because it makes it easier to use them as reference. So here we go,
On my index and pinky I am wearing 2 coats of China Glaze – Good as marigold and on my middle and ring fingers I am wearing 2 coats of Essence – Shade of happiness. Good as marigold is darker and a bit more orange toned compared to Shade of happiness. Both have a good formula and great opacity.
What do you think? Different enough to have both? Which one do you like more? Do you have any other comparisons you would like to see?
Thanks for reading,
Koneko
For Spring/Summer I like the deeper Good as Marigold — it has less of a Halloween vibe to it. (I am not sure if you celebrate October 31st Halloween in South Africa, in the USA pumpkin orange is a standard color used for that holiday.)

You are so right! Good as Marigold is a great summer shade. Halloween is definitely picking up in SA but more around trick or treating. I do think it’s a perfect halloween shade too.
