Hey guys,
Thanks to the public holiday this week is flying. Yesterday felt like Monday and now it’s already Wednesday. How is your week going?
Have I mentioned that I like flowers on my nails? I’m not sure if I will ever get enough of it so be prepared. I have so much nail art goodies but something I don’t have is that gold foil that you can tear and place on the nail. I always want it but somehow I never get it. This idea was born with that in mind but I had to DIY it a bit. Let me show you,
I started with 2 coats of OPI – Taupe-Less beach on my index and middle finger and 2 coats of OPI – Vesper on my ring finger and pinky. I then used China Glaze – Counting carats and using a dotting tool, placed some pieces of the glitter randomly on my index and middle finger. I then stamped over that using Lina Opposites attract 01 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I topcoated those two nails and that was that.
I am so in love with Vesper. It’s such a beautiful dark plum texture and I think it works well with the nude. I’m not sure if the glitter really works as well as the foil would’ve worked but the idea is there right? What do you think? Does it work?
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
Love it!! And it works great together… even if I thought it was grey, gold and black 😉
