52 week nail art challenge – Week 24: Blue & purple

I hope you had a fantastic weekend! Mine was good although I stayed up way too late, way too often.

Time for another week of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio.  As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.Image

The prompt this week is blue and purple and I will admit, I was stumped at first. I decided to choose a polish I hadn’t used yet and see what happens from there. Let me show you what happened,

I started with 2 coats of OPI – What’s a little rainforest? on my pinky and ILNP – Zoe on the rest of my nails. I then stamped on my index and middle finger using Lina Make your mark 01 and Mundo de Unas – turquoise. I topcoat everything except my pinky and voila!

I’m not sure if this is the best combination of blue and purple but I quite liked it! I wondered afterwards if a dark blue and lighter purple would’ve been better but it just gives me an excuse to try it. I absolutely adore ILNP – Zoe though. I even have a swatch.

ILNP – Zoe

This is 2 coats without topcoat. This is a beautiful vibrant purple scattered holo. Gorgeous formula and applies like a dream.
