Hey hi hello,
My week is flying by again. How is yours going?
Today is one of those situations where it all started with a polish standing on my desk and I really wanted to see it in action. I am glad I did now because it is so much more beautiful than it looked in the bottle. Which says a lot because it was pretty gorgeous in the bottle. Once I had it on my nails I knew I wanted to pair it with another polish so let me show you the polish first.
China Glaze – Send hues
This is 2 coats with topcoat. This is a plum toned brown packed with gold glitter. The gold glitter seems to have a slight red shift which just adds an extra level of stunning. This applied really well and has a pretty good opacity too. I think brown polishes are often under rated but gosh, this one is just stunning! The glitter is very visible and just gorgeous. So now, what would I add with it? Another one from the same collection of course. Let me show you what I did
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Send hues on my pinky and ring finger and 2 coats of China Glaze – Beaches & toes on my index and middle finger. Once it was completely dry I applied Because I shop – Artsy fartsy vinyls on my index and middle finger. I applied Send hues over that and made sure to remove the vinyls before it dried. I topcoated and voila!
I really enjoyed these two polishes together as they’re both gorgeous. I think the sparkly nude works well with the brown. I do have some more ideas of what to pair with Send hues and I am excited to try something bright paired with the brown. What do you think? Does this work?
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
Does it work? Do you even have to ask?
