52 week nail art challenge – Week 33: Country

I hope you had a fabulous weekend. Mine was great but today is the day I get my butt into gear and really get cracking with things that need to be done. Let’s make this week great!

Time for another week of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio.  As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.Image

The prompt this week is Country. I initially interpreted it this to be Country as in where you live or your favourite country to go. I then thought about country and western type of country. I ran into a bit of a problem with a time so I thought I would go with whatever would be quickest and easiest. This always feels like a cheat but this time it couldn’t be helped. So let me show you what I did.

I wanted to use polishes that would fit the “theme” as well so I started with 2 coats of Morgan Taylor – Tan my hide on my index and middle finger and 2 coats of China Glaze – Lasso my heart on my pinky and ring finger. Once it was dry I started stamping. I stamped using W214 and on my index I used Mundo de Unas – Black. On my middle finger I double stamped using W214 and first Mundo de Unas – Caramel and then Mundo de Unas – Black. On my ring finger I used W214 and Mundo de Unas – Gold. On my pinky I double stamped again using W214 and Mundo de Unas – Gold and then Mundo de Unas – Caramel. I topcoated and that was that.

I don’t loooove this but I liked the idea. I like both of these polishes together as well. What do you think? What would you do for this prompt? I have a cut on my finger that is really restricting me at the moment but luckily it is healing pretty fast so hopefully that will be resolved soon and I can get back to normal. On that note, I had to postpone tomorrows Tuesday Stamping to next week (sorry) and then I will continue the 2 week schedule from then.
