Stripes & swirls nail art

Hey guys,

It’s been quite a week on this side but hopefully this weekend will be a good time to relax. I am a bit behind on everything but getting there slowly. How has your week been? Are you ready for the weekend?

I have seriously been lacking inspiration lately. Everything I do try doesn’t turn out like I expected or doesn’t go over well. I am hoping I will get my groove back soon. Or maybe just do more of what I love regardless ;). Today is not that day though. This was also an idea that looked a little different in my head. Let me show you what I did

I started with 2 coats of OPI – My dogsled is a hybrid on my pinky and 2 coats of OPI – Humidi-tea on the rest of my nails. Once it was all completely dry I taped off sections on my index and middle finger and used OPI – My dogsled is a hybrid to paint a section. I let that dry a little bit and then I stamped the black line using Lina – Feeling shapely 01 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I then used a small swirl from Lina Twirls & swirls 01 right against the black line (to make it look like it comes out of the line). I topcoated and that was that.

I also have a swatch for you. I was quite surprised my Humidi-tea so I did a quick swatch

OPI – Humidi-tea

This is 2 coats with topcoat. This is a beautiful nude packed with shimmer and a great formula. I expected it to be quite sheer but I had enough coverage in 2 coats and if you wanted to add a 3rd it would be easy peasy.

What do you think? Do you like nudes, especially if they are a little shimmery or sparkly? What do you think about what I paired it with?
