Hey guys,
It’s weekend time! Every Friday morning I wake up with a weekend vibe and I love it. I hope you’ve had a great week and have an even better weekend planned.
It’s time for another Friday Triad with Juanita and Joyce . So once a month we will make turns choosing someones nail art to use as inspiration for this post. You can look forward to these posts on the last friday of each month. This month it was my turn to choose and I chose this design by Emilia from @Polishpixie92. I thought I could use a gorgeous simple design after the craziness and I hope the other ladies agree. Let me show you what I did,
I started with 2 coats of the gorgeous ILNP – Riding waves on my pinky and 2 coats of ILNP – I see you on the rest of my nails. Once it was all completely dry I sectioned off a piece of my middle and ring finger and added 2 coats of ILNP – Riding waves. I removed the tape and waited for that to dry completely again. I then stamped the horizontal lines first using Lina – Feeling shapely 01 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I then stamped the vertical line using using the same plate. I topcoated and voila!
I really enjoyed doing this. I was worried that the lines might be a bit tricky but I managed to get it done fairly easily. I tried another plate first but the lines were much thinner and closer together and it was just a bit too much. I really loved the original too and I hope I did it justice. I can’t wait to see what Juanita and Joyce create so pop over there to see their versions!
Thanks for reading
Joyce
I love it! I was actually thinking about something like this until I saw that other plate that just begged me to be used 😉
The colors are perfectly in season too, all happy and bright and ready for Spring… great job!
