Hey lovelies,
I can’t believe how fast this week is going by. I’ve been quite busy and before I know it it will be weekend again. Hopefully with a much shorter to-do list. How is your week going?
I don’t know if it is just me but sometimes there is so much I want to try and do then I get too overwhelmed to decide on something. I have a whole folder of inspiration and usually I would take a few of those and combine elements to make it my own. Sometimes I want to use specific polishes and sometimes I want a specific combination. When I have too many options, I can’t decide. Most times when this happens I just end up doing something simple and then I somehow get back on track. Today, it is the something simple based on pretty colours I had nearby. Let me show you what I did,
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – I sea the point on all my nails and let that dry completely. I then used tape to section off the tips of my middle and ring finger. I applied Color Club – Over the moon to the tips and removed the tape immediately. Once that was completely dry I stamped on that section using Lina – Feeling shapely 02 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I then used Lina – Feeling shapely 01 and Mundo de Unas – Black to stamp a black line where the two colours meet. I topcoated everything and voila!
This was really quick and simple and I wish I could capture more of the holo on the tips. It was fun to wear this but mostly I just loved that colour. I did a swatch as well
China Glaze – I sea the point
This is 2 coats with topcoat. This is a dustier blue creme with a really nice and opaque formula. It applied really well and is a gorgeous colour.
What do you think? I seem to be using a lot of blue lately and I am not sure why. I am also not complaining too much but I think it might be time to move on to some of the other colours 😉
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
You’re probably using a lot of blue because it’s winter… oh wait… 😉
