Friday Triad – Inspired by @kt_tk1

Hey guys,

I know this post is a few days late. We had some ‘technical issues’ to sort out but still wanted to make sure we all posted at the same time. I hope you’re having a great weekend though!

It’s the last Friday of the month which means it is time for Friday Triad with  Juanita and Joyce.   So once a month we will make turns choosing someones nail art to use as inspiration for this post.  You can look forward to these posts on the last Friday of each month.  This month it was Juanita‘s turn to choose and she had a gorgeous design by Kathy from @kt_tk1. Coincidentally Joyce had a very similar one too. I was excited! Let me show you what I did,

I started with 2 coats of Essence – Dreaming of love? on my index, 2 coats of Essence – Hello Rosy on my ring finger and 2 coats of Essence – My hulla hoop on the rest of my nails. Once that was dry I stamped on my middle finger using BP-48 and Essence – Dreaming of love?. I topcoated everything except my ring finger and that was that.

I know my camera isn’t the biggest fan of pink but I generally try and get it as colour accurate as I can. Hello rosy on my ring finger though is a little more coral toned than it actually is. It was much closer to my index in colour than what it appears. I haven’t used it in so long and I actually quite enjoyed the texture of it. I am not sure if the light pink works here. What do you think? Does it work? I actually wanted to go with purple shades but I seem to have used a lot of purple lately so I thought I would shake it up 😉 Pop over to  Juanita and Joyce  to see what they come up with.
