Hi lovelies,
I hope you had a fabulous weekend! Mine was packed full of fun and nice cool weather. What did you get up to? I know I spent a large part of last week moaning. It was a really tough week for me (anniversary of my dad’s passing) but I can already feel this week is going to be much better. So no more complaining from me! 😉
*Update below*
I have another polish to show you today. Another Hean polish from Glamore Cosmetics. This is another beauty from the summer collection and is #222. This is such a summery shade and I think it’s going to be a popular one too. Let me show you,
**Update** Since doing these posts these polishes have been named. This polish is now known as “Life is Peachy”
This is 3 coats with no topcoat. It is THE perfect peachy creme. It also applies like a dream. I applied 3 coats but 2 coats would’ve been fine too I am sure. I really love the shiny finish and how fast it dries. Even in 3 coats.
I was once again impressed with this Hean polish. Great formula, great opacity, great colour and the same brush as the previous one. I really can’t fault this polish at all. I have not found one yet that didn’t apply well and didn’t look absolutely gorgeous. And I have tried many. I have Hean polishes to show you all week. If you ask me, you really should go grab yourself some of this collection before they are all sold out. You can find Glamore cosmetics here:
And of course, a little art. In the Polishes Pretties SA group on Facebook I showed my fimo in a thread and realised I had never used them. When I used this polish I immediately thought citrus so it was the perfect time to pull out those little fimo citrussy thingums. Let me show you.
I started with the base of 3 coats of Hean #222. I wanted the stamping to be a little more subtle so I stamped using BM308 and Hean #235 (remember that gorgeous dusty pink Hean I showed you first?). On my middle and index I used 2 of the (what I assume is) grapefruit fimo. The pinkish middle was the perfect combination to the pinkish stamping. I stuck the limo using topcoat but I did not topcoat over them. I liked that they were ‘sticking out’. I topcoated the stamping and done. I actually really liked this and the fimo was really easy to work with. They didn’t catch on anything or give me any trouble. Because they are flexible though could easily be ‘bent’ according to the curve of your nails too. I will definitely be using these again.
What do you think? Isn’t this just the perfect peach summery shade? Have you tried any of the Hean polishes yet?
Thanks for reading,
Siobhan
