piCture pOlish – Douceur

Happy Friday! This week has just flown by.  Let’s hope the weekend goes by a bit slower.

On Monday I showed you the piCture pOlish – Unicorn that was sent to me by We Heart Nail Art and today I have the other one to show you. piCture pOlish is an australian indie brand and  We Heart Nail Art  is the South African stockist.  piCture pOlish polishes are also 5 free, free of artificial flavours and fragrances.  They are also cruelty free AND vegan. This is a whole lot of bargain for your money if you ask me.   Let me show you Douceur

This is 2 coats with topcoat.  This is a light nude base with magenta and a berry red glitter hexes and some scatter holo particles.  It is the most gorgeous polish.  Formula is amazing. This polish applied like a dream and I had no no problems with bald spots or streaks and the glitter spread evenly.  It is so gorgeous.  This is another collaboration shade with TartofRaises.  You can pick up this polish from We Heart Nail Art for R180.

I also did some nail art.

I started with 2 coats of piCture pOlish – Douceur and topcaoted that.  When it was completely dry I used the heart spiral vinyls from We Heart Nail Art.  I used one solid heart and one ‘open’ heart and then used Sinful Colors – Dream on.  I removed each vinyl immediately after each nail.  Dream on is a matte polish and I didn’t topcoat it because I really liked the contrast of the matte against Douceur. That was that.
