NAILLINKUP: Anything new

Hi lovelies,

Is it just me or has this week flown? I haven’t even gotten into the swing of things yet and we are already half way through the week. I hope your week is going well.

It’s time for NAILLinkup again. The first one for January. You can check out all the prompts on the poster below. Remember, the dates are just a guideline. You can also find more info about NAILLINKUP and the January prompts here.

The first prompt was chosen by V from For the Love of Nail Art and is a perfect prompt for the start of a new year. So I am going to show you a new polish I got just before Christmas.

China Glaze – Cabin fever

This is 2 coats with no topcoat. It is from the China Glaze The Great Outdoors collection. Cabin fever is a rusty duochrome. It flashes pink, rusty coppery, gold and even some green. If you look at the bottle you can get a good idea of all the colours this polish will flash. It’s one of those polishes that could be a little ugly but that is what makes it gorgeous. When I saw this I knew I had to have it. I absolutely love it. The formula on this is great too. It applies beautifully. Opacity is great, it could almost be a one coater. I love love love this. Let me show you some stamping I did with it.

I stamped over this using BM604 and MoYou stamping polish in black and then topcoated. Simple and easy but oh so pretty. I love the geometric print over the flashes of colour of the duochrome.
