Yikes but it’s cold! The whole weekend has been one big freeze fest and today isn’t any different. Of course that meant lots of nothing under blankets and hot drinks. How was your weekend? Today is also the first day of this week long cleanse / detox. I can not be held responsible for my actions this week so I apologise in advance. 😉 I also had another little nail accident so my nails have gotten quite a bit shorter. Unfortunately some posts were done before hand so this week you will probably see a mish mash of different nail lengths :/
Today I have some more Hean Jungle pop polishes to show you. I originally showed you some of the collection here but Glamore Cosmetics recently (or maybe not THAT recently) got 2 more from this collection they didn’t have before. Thank you so much Glamore! So of course, I have to show you those 2 as well
Hean Jungle Pop #275
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This is such a unique colour it’s almost hard to describe. It’s a burnt orange with a hint of a gold tone and it’s packed with a pink fleck. This gives it an almost duochrome feel but it’s absolutely gorgeous. it’s a little sheer on the first coat but builds up beautifully on the second. Stunning formula too and as usual, dries quite fast.
Hean Jungle Pop #279
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. It’s a bright – almost fuchsia – pink packed with shimmer. It is of a very similar formula as Jungle pop #276, #278 and #281 except that it’s pink. It’s absolutely stunning and I have worn this a few times now on it’s own when I have to rush out the door and don’t have time for full nail art. One of my absolute favourites.
Of course I had to do some nail art. Let me show you,
I started with 2 coats of Hean Jungle Pop #275 on my pinky, ring and middle and 2 coats of Hean Jungle Pop #279 on my index. I left those to dry while I set to work making some decals on my manicure mat. I stamped using Pueen97 and Mundo de Unas black. I then coloured in the little flower petals with Hean #279. I then coloured in a few of the smaller ‘petals’ using Hean #276 to represent some leaves. I then applied the decals to my middle and ring finger using topcoat. I topcoated everything and that was that. I really really really liked how this came out. The colours just worked so beautifully together and the shimmer for days nearly slayed me. Love love love!
