I have been lusting after quite a few stamping image plate sets for the longest time. Bundle Monster, Cheeky, Winstonia, Pueen. There are so many and they are all gorgeous. I really love stamping and so far I have only had Essence image plates to play with. I was super happy when my husband recently ordered me the Pueen plates. I knew I would love them. I just wasn’t prepared for how much! I am going to show you the whole set. be warned, this post will be quite photo heavy. I also really struggled to take good photo’s because of the plates being so shiny and reflective. So here we go.
When I ordered there was a promotional offer where the set comes with a little ‘show case’. It is a small leather case with little pockets to hold all the plates. Huge bonus for me. This is what it all looked like when it arrived.
There are 25 plates in this set. Each one comes with a blue film over the image to protect the plate from scratches or damage. This film has to be removed before use. As i mentioned before, I have only used Essence plates before so I only have that to compare it to. The Pueen images are definitely bigger than the Essence ones. Here is a comparison:
The Pueen (left) next to the Essence (right). The obvious difference is that one is round and one is square. Other than that you can’t really see much of a difference. So let’s compare some more.
Length wise, you can see the Pueen stamp is slightly longer than the Essence stamp. Even with the curved, half moon part. It might not seem like much but that little bit can make a huge difference, especially if you have long nails or long nail beds.
Here you can see that the Pueen plate is also wider than the Essence plate. Considering I’ve never had huge problems with the Essence plate sizes but that they just just fit so this is a huge win for me. Each plate is also identified by a number. This set is is identified with PUEEN and the number i.e. PUEEN01 or PUEEN02. I bet you’re dying to see them now right?
That’s it. 25 plates of gorgeousness. I was going to mention my favourites per plate but I just couldn’t narrow it down. I pretty much love them all. Some of them are so detailed and intricate. I love them all. Now the big question is, how well do they work? I took a quick snap with my phone. I tested 4 images from the first 4 plates. I fell in love! They stamp so beautifully and perfectly.
I might have to apologise in advance for the loads of stamping that there will be from now on :P. I know that I definitely need the Pueen ‘Love Elements’ set as well. If you want to see more you can find them here.
Do you like stamping? Would you stamp more if you could? Which image is your favourite? Lay it on me… Have a great weekend! I’m sure you know what I will be doing 😉
