BundleMonster 2013 Create Your Own stamping plates

Hello lovelies,

You all know I love stamping right? I ordered the new BundleMonster 2013 Create Your Own stamping plates.  Basically it was created by the ‘fans’.  BundleMonster asked fans to submit images they would like to see on a stamping plate set and from all those submitted they chose  the winners that made it into the collection.  This set consists of 26 plates (the biggest yet). This set has gorgeous images and I applaud them for involving nail art enthusiasts and bloggers alike.  This is also the cheapest set yet at an unbelievable price of $16.50.  You can find them here.

This post has a lot of photo’s so I am going to keep my ‘talking’ to as little as I can.  I do have to mention my experience with BundleMonster though. I placed my order just a bit after 6pm our time.  Within 3 hours I got an email saying my order was shipped with a tracking number.  I was really impressed by this.  I have also heard that it can take about 6 weeks for these plates to be delivered but I was pleasantly surprised when I got my collection slip from the post office just 3 weeks after placing my order.  Good job BundleMonster!  As if the plates weren’t amazing enough, I also had GREAT service!

Right, onto the plates.  They arrived in a padded envelope (of course) and inside was this little pouch that holds all the plates.

As with my Pueen plates, the BundleMonster plates also come with the protective paper backing that make them easier to use and much less sharp edged.

Each plate comes with a protective blue cover that has to be peeled off before use.

Right, I know you are just itching to see the images on these AMAZING plates.  Here we go.  I will add my opinion / favourite images after each photo.

The octopus and tentacles images are really cool.  I do love the ‘I <3 Geeks’

I love the geometric prints but that moustache and monocle is so cute!

The 4 full nail geometric images are gorgeous.

That love infinity image is gorgeous! I also have a ton of ideas for that little thought bubble!

I absolutely LOVE the full image on the left.  The paper crane is also super cute.  I like that you can get a drip design with a stamp even though it is easy and quick to do it without as well.

All of these are just so pretty.

Ok what is not to like on this plate?  The bird cage. The dream catcher. The nautical stripes and anchor. Those abstracty trees at the top are also so intriguing.

I really like the faux glitter in the bottom image because you can have so much fun with it.  I do love the numbers and the spiral at the top.

This is another plate just filled with favourites.  The little bundle monster little man is adorable. The tree is gorgeous and that little light bulbs with the heart in the middle is SO cute.  The most interesting is the bottom full image.

Totally like these images but that little dragon fly is adorable!

This might be my favourite plate.  Maybe.  The notes on the left is a firm favourite.  Possibly my most favourite.  The xoxo’s and the patch are also favourites.

That little kitty cat is so cute! Also love the variety of polka dots.

I don’t even have to say anything about the amazingness of this plate.  Right?

That fingerprint.  I love it! I can just imagine that skyline on the right on top of a sunset gradient.

I love love love the binary code and the word search.  Those gears are also fabulous.

OK so maybe the crossword is my favourite image.  I also love the splatter image.  (although I do think part of the fun of a splatter design is the mess 😉 )

I am strangely drawn to the praying mantis.  I also like the little wing but I wouldn’t have hated it to have the other side one as well 😛

I really like the recycle and other signs on this plate.

I adore the feathers.  The Eiffel tower is also super cute.

This whole plate is just great.  I am most excited about the zip because I have been looking for one for ages.  Love the corset as well.

I think those little heart sweetie images are so cute.  I like that the top one is all the cutesy saying and the bottom one has “get a life”, “you suck” etc on them.

I am obsessed with the brick ‘wall’. The roller skates are so cool and cute.

LOVE the chevrons.  I have the smaller chevrons on my Pueen plates but these bigger ones are awesome.  How cute is the popcorn? 😉

Ok seriously, are those pandas not just the cutest? I am also so stoked about the butterfly wing.  Yay for not having to freehand it 😉

I haven’t really considered words on my nails but I do like having the option.

Same as with the words.  The image in the middle is awesome though.

These images are plenty big enough of my nails (or at least the ones I have used so far)  The images are 1.7cm x 1.4cm.  They are also beautifully etched which makes the images crisp and clear.  I have one or two to show you and any errors you see is purely user error.

Of course, the first think I had to do was replicate what I saw on Squeaky Nails’ blog.  I loved this one on her and I think she did a much better job. I used two coats of Sinful Colors – Black on Black an stamped using BM414 and Essence stampy polish in white.

 

 

My camera had the hardest time focusing on the this design.  The fingerprint is quite weird when you look right at it so I don’t blame the camera at all 😉

I then asked acidicice to choose which colours and images she wants me to do and this is what she came up with. I love it!

How absolutely adorable is that panda on my pinky!  I die!

Pinky: 2 coats Sinful Colors – Snow me white and stamped with Essence stampy polish in black with BM424

Ring: 2 coats Tip Top – Cha Cha Cha and stamped with Essence stampy polish in black with BM424 (I didn’t align the image properly so my error)

Middle: 2 coats Tip Top – Sexy bikini and stamped with Essence stampy polish in black and BM406 (again, user error)

Index: 2 coats Tip Top – We have an agreed-mint and stamped with Tip Top – Armour plate and BM415

Thumb: 2 coats Sinful Colors – Black on black and stamped with China Glaze – Admire and BM409

All in all I absolutely love this set and I can’t wait to do a ton of stamping.

Speaking of, I will be starting a new feature soon called Sunday Stamping.  Every Sunday I will do a post all about stamping.  I will show some polishes and how they stamp.  I will also answer any questions you might have.  I also think it would be a really great idea to do one design that you want to see.  So if you want to see any of these images or any of the other images from my other plates then let me know.  I will do one whole mani suggested by you.  That means you get to choose the colours, designs, images, order, combinations, you name it.  I will put all the suggestion in a bowl and randomly draw one and keep the rest in the bowl for the next pick, as well as add any new ones. Ok, back to these gorgeous plates.  I love them.  They are super quality and stamp and transfer really well.  I definitely would love to try the other sets also available from BundleMonster.  I would also really love one of their plate holders. (Is anyone listening? I would REALLY like the pink one 😉 )
