Officially past the half way mark of the challenge. Yay!
I love geometric nail art. It is always so striking and eye catching and you can do SO many different things in different ways. For this prompt I was a little sorry I didn’t use my twin nails with Madness Nails. I loved those. Then I remembered this textured geometric nail art from Polish me, please. I loved them and when I saw it again I knew it would be perfect for this prompt. Let me show you
I thought the OPI Brazil beach sandies polishes would be perfect for it. So I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Snow me white and when that was completely dry I went to work with the striping tape. I then used the four liquid sands for different areas with a small nail art brush. They are:
- Yellow: OPI – You’re so flippy floppy
- Purple: OPI – Samba-dy loves purple
- Pink/ Coral: OPI – I’m Brazil nuts over you
- Blue: OPI – What’s a little rain forest?
(You can see swatches of these polishes here)
I did each nail and removed the removed the tape immediately when it was done. I love how this came out and I think the bright colours from the OPI beach sandies were perfect. I just wish that my camera didn’t hate pink. I LOVE these liquid sands. OPI, please make these in full sizes! And I would love to have those too 🙂
What do you think? Do you think this works? Don’t you just love these beach sandies as well?
