Omega nail polish – Crimson Rose

Phew…..it’s only Wednesday? My week seems to be crawling! Which might be a good thing considering how much I have to do 😛 How is your week treating you?

I have another beautiful polish to show you that I received from the lovely Gael from Glamore Cosmetics. This time it is an Omega polish that you can find here and while you’re there check out all the other awesome Omega Nail goodies! Let me show you Crimson Rose

This is 3 coats with no topcoat. It is a beautiful red jelly. When I saw the bottle I expected something much darker but I absolutely love it. It is the perfect red shade. It is a jelly but opaque in 3 coats which makes it very versatile as well. The formula is also really good. It is quite thin but still very easy to work with. This also makes thin coats easy. It dries fairly quick and is also really shiny. Really stunning! I immediately knew I wanted to sandwich with this gorgeous polish. So let me show you what I did.

I started with 3 coats of Omega – Crimson rose and left that to dry completely. Once it was dry I added Tip Top – Rocky road glitter on my ring finger. On the rest of my nails I stamped using Pueen27 and Essence stampy polish in white. I then added another coat of Omega – Crimson road over everything. So I have a glitter sandwich on my ring finger and a stamp sandwich on all the rest. I really loved how this came out. The rose and lace pattern of the stamped image really looked so good sandwiched.
