Yup yup, another double post today. I told you there might be a few of them. I actually have SO much to show you and have zero patience. So I am doubling up on some days to help me get through it all. Does it bother you? Do you mind?
I love stamping and stamping plates. I want to buy them all and nothing would make me happier. I know that I have so many plates and therefore have so many I haven’t even used yet but man I love stamping. When Bundle Monster reveal a new set I am always twitching to just *add to cart* and be done with it. I’ll be honest, when the Sun Kissed collection was announced I wasn’t overly excited about having an ocean themed set. However, for every plate they revealed I got more and more excited. It was so much better than I thought it would be and I was obsessed in no time. Let me show you the plates.
That top image with the seaweed is just beautiful. And the bottom image is so striking.
I am obsessed with the images on the top and right. Obsessed!
Sharks! I love it. And the star fishes are great too. The bottom shell is also beautifully detailed.
I think I am obsessed with the crabby image on the left. It is too cute!
The bubbles on the left is what really sold me on this set. I love it so much.
All of these are stunning. So stunning!
This is such a fun plate, with ice creams and cocktails and kites.
The birds make such a striking image but the sunglasses are super fun. Also, Flamingo!!!
The rope image on the left is so versatile. I also really like the chains and anchors image at the top.
Mermaids. Love love love love
Of course, I had to do a little something something with them 😀 I must admit this really came together thanks to the Nail Anarchy girls (especially Megan) Thank you!
I started with 2 coats of Catrice – Be pool on my pinky and index and 3 coats of Sinful Colors – Nail junkie on my middle and ring. Once that was all completely dry I stamped using Essence stampy polish in white and plate BM502. On my pinky and and index I used star studs that I painted white. I topcoated everything and thats that. I really like this. That stamp is just stunning! I could’ve done a better job painting the studs white but I think they are ok enough.
As usual, some swatches
Catrice – Be pool
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. It’s a teal-ish mossy green colour packed with a beautiful but slightly subtle shimmer. You can see it on my nails but it isn’t in your face obvious. Great formula and opacity. If you apply thick coats you might get away with one.
Sinful Colors – Nail junkie
I am utterly obsessed with this polish. This is 3 coats with no topcoat. It is a light blue / aqua jelly base packed with blue, green and gold glitter. This is super sparkly and glittery. Warning, you will not be able to keep your eyes off your nails if you wear this. Formula wise it was a little on the thick side but still easy breezy to work it. 3 coats was also more than enough to get full coverage.
What do you think of the plates? Which is your favourite one? Or are you like me and need them all? What do you think of what I did with it?
Thanks for reading,
