52 week nail art challenge – Week 3: Water marble

Happy Monday!  I hope you had a fabulous weekend.  Mine was a combination of busy and fabulous people and lots of lazy.  For some reason I feel tired all the time.  So I’m hoping to catch up on some sleep this week.

This week is water marble.  It’s not my most favourite thing to do in the world and as usual I did this more than once.  So let me show you what I did.

On my middle and ring finger I started with 1 coat of Essence – Wild white ways en left that to dry.  While it was drying I added 2 coats of Nubar – Pasadena purple to my pinky and 2 coats of Nubar – Sphinx purple on my index. I then used the same 2 colours as a water marble on my index and ring finger.  I topcoated and that’s that.

Firstly, I wish I could actually get my patterns at least facing the same direction 😛 but it’s not the worst water marble I’ve ever done.  What do you think? Secondly, I am so intrigued by the Nubar – Sphinx purple because it is everything but purple.  It’s actually a really beautiful shimmery pink.  Anyhoo, that’s one more prompt done and dusted.  There are some really fun and exciting prompts to look forward to.
