Berry stripes nail art

Hello lovelies,

Thank goodness it is Friday!  I am not sure why this week has felt so long but phew! It was productive though so there’s that.  How has your week been? Can you believe I have moved the polish room around again.  I feel like I am doing way more than I should.  Every time I add something it needs to move.  Luckily there isn’t much more I can add.

I recently received my Lina Nail Art Supplies stamping plates and I had to use them immediately!  I decided to start at number 1 and do one mani with each one till I’ve used them all.  I am actually considering doing it with all my stamping plates as I have SO many that hasn’t even been used yet.  It also makes it easier to decide what to do 😉  Anyway, I started with Feeling Shapely 01 and this is what I came up with.

I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – The more the berrier on all my nails.  I don’t know why I didn’t do a swatch of this gorgeous polish but look out, I will make sure to use it again soon!  It’s a beaut.  Once that was completely dry I stamped my middle and ring using the top left image and Mundo de Unas – Dark gray.  On my index and pinky I stamped using the thin diagonal lines and Mundo de Unas – Dark gray.  I then stamped the thicker lines in-between using Mundo de Unas – Merry.  I topcoated everything and voila!

I really liked how this came out.  I wasn’t sure if the stamping on the middle and ring fingers worked with the stripes but I was told it worked just fine 😉  I was a little surprised when I watermarked the photos to discover the thinner lines of gray looked like it bled a smidge.  I am not sure what happened but it wasn’t really noticeable in person.  What do you think? I think the colours work quite well together but then I am biased to the pink spectrum 😉
