Hello lovelies,
Happy Friday! Gosh this has been a loooooong week!I definitely need some down time and possible a sleep marathon. I’m not counting on either of those happening so I will just make sure I have a good time at least. How has your week been? Do you have fun weekend plans?
When I swatched China Glaze – Dope Taupe I just fell in love with it! I knew I had to use it again and I liked how shades of blue looked with it. Let me show you what I did,
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Dope taupe on all my nails and let that dry completely. I then used Lina Make your Mark 3 plate and the blank image to make the gradient. I stamped using Mundo de Unas- Spring green, turquoise and Fiji. I’ll get back to this gradient a bit later. On the rest of my nails I stamped using Lina feeling shapely 4 and the same polishes to stamp in a gradient. Once that was done I topcoated and loved the colours!
What do you think of this? I really really liked it. I just love the colours together and of course, gradients. So, let’s talk about this gradient stamping image I used. It’s no secret that I love gradients and when I got this plate I didn’t think I would make use of this blank image much. When I did this, I thought I would give it a try. Mostly because it was one way to do a gradient using the exact same colours I would stamp with. This blank image worked perfectly! It really was fast and easy and worked so well. I might not always use it for gradients but it certainly helps when I don’t have much time. I have seen people use it to make solid colour bases as well. It reduces drying time as well. That will be next on my list to try. Anyway, I really liked this. Let me know what you think?
Thanks for reading,
Renita

It is quite possibly the best thing that has been thought up. Love it!

I’ve been eyeing that plate myself… and it has gone up to the number one spot now!
Love the colors as well so that makes it a winner manicure in my book 🙂

Thanks so much Joyce, I must say this plate is life changing. The concept is magical and it is so much easier to use!

I don’t know about stamping such a biiiiiig blank image (my stamping sucks sometimes), but I do like some of the images on this plate. And these colours are very pretty together!!

I completely get it. When I got the plate that was NOT the image I was going to use. I didn’t think it was a big deal ( I love doing gradients with a sponge – easy peasy) and I couldn’t imagine it being easy to stamp the big blank image. I eventually buckled and thought I would give it a try and I was AMAZED by a) how easy it was and b) It has some really nice and fun uses. I’ve been hearing people say it is so nice to use in a solid colour for the base of stamping or the base for water marble. Because it dries so fast.
