Remember on Friday when I said I was going to relax and take it easy? Nope, didn’t happen. Did you have a good weekend? I did have a great weekend but it was extremely busy. Yay for Monday!
It is week 26 of the #52weeknailchallenge from Polish Portfolio. This challenge is similar to the 31 Day challenge except this is one prompt for every week of the year. Week 26!!! We are now officially half way! Here I was unsure about even doing a few weeks and look at that. I do suspect that if I do the 31 Day challenge this year I might put this challenge on hold. But let’s see what happens. The prompt this week is rainbow and I had a hard time with it. I just struggled with the gradients I had in mind. In the end, I settled on the easiest 😛 Let me show you
I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Black on black on all my nails and let that dry completely. I then stamped over that using the drip image on Lina Make your Mark 3. I tried to stamp in gradients using Mundo de Unad – Geranium and Yellow, Then Mundo de Unas yellow and green. Then Mundo de Unas – Green and blue. Then Mundo de Unas – Blue and purple. I topcoated and that was that.
What do you think? I actually really liked it in the end even though it isn’t what I originally had in mind. Of course, no one can resist a rainbow gradient. Also, how gorgeous is this drippy image? I have a few stamping image for this concept but this one is really different and I love it. Let me know what you think and also if you have or are taking part in this challenge.
