52 week nail art challenge – Week 13: Easter

Hey hi

Happy Monday!  Did you have a good weekend? Mine felt super rushed but not too bad.  We had the Ultra Glow UV night run on Saturday night and it was quite fun.  It was extremely muddy after the rain we had and it was interesting to see everyone slip. slide and fall into the mud.  It was also definitely not 5k but that’s ok too.  It was fun.  What did you get up to?

Time for another week of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio.  As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.

The prompt for today is Easter and eh….I don’t really love easter nails.  I feel like I have done all the easter nails I know how to do.  I know Easter isn’t about bunnies and eggs and pastel colours but that is what is associated with Easter.  Luckily, I got my hands on some vinyls that were just perfect for my subtle easter nail art idea.  Let me show you what I did.

I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Snow way on all my nails and left that to dry completely. I used the Bunny Hop vinyls from Because I shop and started with the zig zag egg pattern on all my nails. I used Sinful Colors – Orange cream, Sinful colors – Olympia (green) and Sinful Colors – Sweet tooth ( lilac) to do the patterns and remvoed the vinyls immediately. I topcoated this and again left it to dry completely.  I then used the bunny head vinyl on my index and pinky and Sinful Colors – Black on black to do the bunnies. I topcoated for the last time and that was that.

This is probably as eastery as I could get and these vinyls definitely made my job much easier.  How do you feel about easter or themed nail art? I wish I was creative enough to keep coming up with all the amazing designs I see every day.  What do you think about my easter bunnies?  Work?

Thanks for reading,
