How has the week been treating you so far? I am finally starting to feel a little better so I think the latter part of my week is going to be much better than the first part. I am still loving this cold weather but I can already see the sun is coming up earlier and the rays are hitting a little harder. I will just have to enjoy this cooler weather as much as I can till it warms up. It usually doesn’t warm up before my birthday so we at least still have a good while. Are you looking forward to the weekend already?
When I am looking for ideas on nail art I can either go through my Inspo folder or page through all my vinyls. I can always get a ton of ideas just by looking at them. That’s exactly what happened when I came across the Windows vinyls from Because I shop. I immediately knew what I wanted to do. Let me show you,
I started with 2 coats of Essence – Miracle stone on my ring and middle nail and 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Snow me white on my pinky and index. I left them all to dry completely. I then used the windows vinyl on my ring and middle finger and then did a sponged gradient across all my nails using Hean 891 (lime), Hean #894 (pink) and Mean #892 (orange). I made sure to remove the vinyls from my middle and ring finger immediately but there was a tiny bit of bleeding at the cuticle area. I topcoated and voila!
I just love these vinyls and it was the perfect size to even fit on my shorter nails. I also really like it paired with the gradient and the grey base. What do you think? Does it work? I feel like this isn’t my best gradient work but at least it still looks like a gradient so I think it’s ok. These neons are also really nice. Have you tried them?

It looks interesting but on my monitor it doesn’t look neon at all… maybe the poor thing needs a break, just as it’s owner 😉
I love the idea though, I can totally see you doing something with pale to dark pink as a gradient and a glitter base (hint hint)
(and of course I haven’t tried those polishes… I can’t my hands on Hean polishes if my life depended on it)
Hahahaha I laughed way too hard at you. I definitely think your monitor and the owner needs a LONG break! I think the neon is a bit muted by the grey base and probably freaked my camera out way too much. I LOVE your suggestion though and I am definitely going to do this asap!
I am actually surprised you’re struggling to get Hean because I thought it was a European brand. It always blows my mind when I can get my hands on something that international folks can’t 😛
