Hey lovelies,
Thank goodness it’s Friday! I don’t know why (because I’m still going to be here and doing one thing) but everything is better when it’s the weekend right? Has the week treated you well?
The 31 Day Challenge is usually done in September although you can do it any time of the year. If you want to find out more information you can find everything you need to know as well as the Inlinkz for the prompts here thanks to Cathy from More Nail Polish. Here are the prompts you can look forward to
I love flowers and floral nail art so my head was swimming with ideas for this prompt. I finally narrowed it down to 2 and finally settled on this one. Let me show you,
I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Snow me white on my middle and ring finger and 2 coats of China Glaze – Snap my dragon on my pinky and index. Once it was all completely dry I did a stamped smoosh on my middle and ring finger using Sinful Colors – Snow me white, China Glaze – Intelligence, integrity & courage and China Glaze – Snap my dragon. I then stamped over the smoosh using Lina – Spring 01 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I topcoated and voila!
I really liked how the smoosh looked but I think it gets a little lost in the photos in the end. I do like everything together too and how gorgeous is this Snap my dragon polish? I don’t think I have ever used it before but I love it! What do you think? Flower enough? Does it work?
Don’t forget to follow the #31DC2018 on social media if you want to follow along with the daily prompts OR take a peep at the InLinkz below.
Thanks for reading,
Cindi
I really like this. It’s so pretty and that red is beautiful on you!
Michelle Roberts
Thank you so much Cindi. I couldn’t decide what I liked more, the flowers or the polish. I can’t believe I had it so long without using it.
Briget
That polish is freaking awesome!! and the smooshing is just the right amount of blur to draw the eye to the print. NAILD IT!
Michelle Roberts
Thank you so much! I was worried the smoosh would detract but I am quite pleased it didn’t!
Juanita
Pretty! I agree with B, the smoosh makes the flowers stand out more.
Michelle Roberts
Yay! Thank you! I am so glad it worked out!
Joyce
Love it! Maybe you could have colored in a flower (or maybe one and a bit on the side) on each nail to show off the flowers even more, but that’s just me nit-picking 😉
Michelle Roberts
Oh I love that idea!!! See, I need a ‘Joyce’ app for these kind of things. Thank you so much *makes notes for future flower prompts*
