Hey hello hi,
I hope you had a fabulous weekend! Mine had a bit more relaxing than I expected. We had no water from Saturday morning till Sunday evening so the cleaning had to take a back seat. It meant I could relax a little and now cleaning of flood damage can commence. I tell you, first we get washed away by water and then we have not a drop of water. What a time to be alive :P. What did you get up to?
Time for another week of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio. As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.

I can’t believe we are already at Week 17 already. The prompt this week is unused plate and I’ve been waiting for this prompt since week 3 when I thought this prompt actually was. I obviously used an unused plate there too but I kept this plate especially for this prompt. Let me show you what I did,

I started with a sponged gradient on all my nails using China Glaze – Keeping it teal on the tip, China Glaze – Emerald bae and China Glaze – Just a little embellishment at the cuticle. Once the gradient was drying I got to working with the stamping. I stamped using Lina – License to be sexy 02 and Dollish Polish – Black velvet. I then used China Glaze – best ponies forever to colour in the flower and leaves. I then transferred the stamping to my middle and ring finger. I topcoated and then went in with a matte topcoat as well.

I knew I really liked this in matte but let me show you the glossy version.

Which do you prefer? The glossy or the matte? I really really liked this gradient and I like how the gold looks on it. I always say how much I love a matte metallic and I think the matte gold really looks nice. What do you think?
Thanks for reading,
