Friday Triad – Inspired by @adornedclaw

Hello hi hey,

You guys, this week kicked my butt. Thank goodness it is Friday and I am so ready for the weekend. How has your week been?

It’s time for another Friday Triad with  Juanita and Joyce .  So once a month we will make turns choosing someones nail art to use as inspiration for this post.  You can look forward to these posts on the last friday of each month.  This month it was Joyce’s turn to choose and boy did she choose well. She chose this beautiful design by Ruth from @adornedclaw and I was excited. Let me show you what I did.

I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Who wonder on my pinky and 1 coat of China Glaze – Something sweet on the rest of my nails. Once it was all dry I did a sponged gradient on my index and middle nail using China Glaze – I’ll pink to that and China Glaze – something sweet. While that was drying I got to work with the stamping. I stamped using Lina – Feeling shapely 01 and Konad – Black pearl. I then coloured in the lines using China Glaze – Something sweet, China Glaze – I’ll pink to that and China Glaze – Who wonder. I then applied this to my ring finger, topcoated and tah-dah!

For the last few times I’ve had comments that it was expected I would do something pink so I thought this was a good time to do just that. I adore the original colour scheme but I immediately knew I would be doing this in shades of pink. What do you think?

I loved the colour combination of the original but I knew I wanted to change the colours a bit. I actually really like how the blue works with this. I wish my chevrons were a little smaller like hers but hey. What do you think? I am looking forward to see what the other ladies create so don’t forget to pop over to  Juanita and Joyce to see their fab versions.
