Summer palms

Hello hi hey,

It feels like it should be further along in the week but I have also managed to get a lot done so far as well. How has your week been?

I know I speak about this often but you guys, summer. It seems summer is making itself VERY known and I am not ready. We have one day where it’s cool and then a few days of sweltering heat. It’s still only spring but man I can’t deal. It’s too hot and humid. Anyway, now that I have complained enough about the weather, I do love the summer colours. I couldn’t resist pulling out some neons. Let me show you what I did,

I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Hang-ten toes on my index, 2 coats of China Glaze – Shades & gentlemen on my middle finger and 4 coats of China Glaze – Celtic sun on my pinky. On my ring finger I did a gradient using China Glaze – Hang-ten toes and China Glaze – Celtic sun. On then stamped over it using BM-S409 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I topcoated everything and then went in with a matte topcoat.

I was quite surprised by how gorgeous Hang-ten toes was and how well it worked in the gradient. I will have to do a swatch soon (Yay I use it again). I also really love Shadies & gentlemen even though it looks a bit weird in the photos. I suspect the light made it look a bit strange next to the neons. Anyway, what do you think?
