Hey guys,
See, I told you it would be a blink of an eye and then it’s weekend. This week has flown by but it has been a good week. How was yours? I am still thrilled it is weekend though. I need to catch up on some sleep and relaxation 😉
I’m a bit late with this collection. With all the holidays and catching up I’ve had to do it took a while for me to get around to them. They’ve been sitting on my desk teasing me for a good few days now and I am so excited I got to finally play. This is a gorgeous collection so let me get to it.
China Glaze – Buffalo bills, bills, bills
This is 2 coats with topcoat. This is a bronze toned brown packed with gold shimmer with a slight green tone it The shimmer itself seems to have a bit of a shift. It is absolutely gorgeous and quite unique. I don’t think I have anything else like it. It applied beautifully and has a stunning opacity and formula.
China Glaze – Campfired up!
This is 2 coats with topcoat. This is a red creme and I was seriously impressed with the opacity on this one. I liked the colour more than I expected I would. It’s not cherry red but also not dark red. It’s a very flattering shade of red an applied so well. This is almost a one coater with a a great formula.
Chine Glaze – Cattle drive me crazy
This is 2 coats with topcoat. This is a very ark (almost blackened) teal blue with a metallic-ish feel to it. It has a shimmer but it feels much more chrome than creme with shimmer. This is a one coater an has such a stunning formula. I was worried about brush strokes but it evened itself out so well that there isn’t a brush stroke in sight. It’s gorgeous and another quite unique one to me.
China Glaze – Cowboy, bye
This is 2 coats with topcoat. This is a purple toned brown with a gold shimmer (that has a slight shift as well) and flecks of silver holographic glitter. This applied beautifully and is so much prettier in real life. Great opacity and formula and another quite unique to me polish. The combination of the colour with the flecks and the shimmer is really gorgeous an I can’t wait to use this again.
China Glaze – Gold mine your business
This is 2 coats with topcoat. This is a antique gold with micro holographic glitter. I say antique gold because it’s not a plain gold for me. I didn’t know if I was going to like this one but it is actually quite gorgeous. It is quite sheer and thin and I was worried about the opacity of it. On the second coat it had great coverage but I suspect a third coat would be even better. The micro holo glitter in this just makes it even more beautiful. This is a great shade!
China Glaze – Lawless & flawless
This is 2 coats with topcoat. This is a dusty pink packed with a shifting pinky shimmer. It’s slightly more pink as my pink hating camera muted it a bit in my opinion. The shimmer is just gorgeous and I think you could easily add a their coat if you wanted to. It applied beautifully but is one of the sheerer ones from the collection (not as sheer as Gold mine your business) but still perfectly fine in 2 coats. Obviously this is a favourite as it is pink but I think it will be a favourite for many. It’s a shade you can wear all year.
China Glaze – Prairie tale ending
This is 2 coats with topcoat. This is a beige, sandy nude creme and has a great formula. This applied so easily and is super opaque as well for a nude creme. I always love a nude and even having the whole Shades of Nude collection I am not sure if I am one in this colour range. I will definitely have a look but shout if you want a comparison.
China Glaze – Take the high rodeo
This is 2 coats with topcoat. This is a mauve, dusty rose pink packed gold shimmer. This applied really well with a great formula and opacity. I was surprised by how much I love this one. The colour is beautiful and the shimmer is just so strong. This is also quite unique to me.
That’s it. What do you think of this collection? Do you have a favourite or this not really your colour scheme? I always find myself leaning to autumn colours so I love all of these but I also think some of them are great for autumn but also good for other seasons. Let me know if you want to see any comparisons. I haven’t done one of those in a while.
Thanks for reading,
