Happy Valentine’s day and happy Friday! I hope you have had a fabulous week. I am glad it is weekend so all the busy business can slow down a bit.
When I swatched China Glaze – Strawberry fields the other day I mentioned that it reminded me of China Glaze – Ahoy! I wasn’t sure how similar they were so I knew it was calling for a comparison.
On my index and pinky I have 2 coats of China Glaze – Strawberry fields and on my ring and middle fingers I have 2 coats of China Glaze – Ahoy! As you can see, they’re not the same at all. Besides both being pink with shimmer that is about the only similarity. Strawberry fields has gold shimmer and Ahoy has pink shimmer. Ahoy is also a bit darker pink. Both apply well and have a nice formula but Ahoy is a smidge sheerer than Strawberry fields.
Both of these are absolutely gorgeous and I think you could have both in your collection. What do you think? Do you have either of these? Do you have a preference?
