Hi lovelies,
Did you have a good weekend? It’s been rainy here which is quite nice if restricting. The good news is I survived the parkrun, the bad news is my polish isn’t going anywhere 😉
I have another stamping plate to show you from Born Pretty Store (which is my favourite place to buy nail art supplies). This might be my favourite stamping plate EVER! Let me show you plate BPL-022 and you can find it here (or click on the image)
As usual, the plate comes with a blue protective film that has to be removed before use
And Born Pretty Store has these super cute little envelope / holder to store it in.
This plate is 12cm x 6 cm big with a white plastic backing that is slightly larger than the plate. The images are 2.5cm x 1.5cm big. This is a great size for really long nails. Let me show you what nail art I did.
On my index and pinky nails I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Daisy know my name?. Once that was dry I used tape to mark off half my nail and used China Glaze – Treble maker for the other side. I then used my black striper to make a black line where the two colours meet. On my ring finger I used 2 coats of Nubar – Noir. On my middle finger I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Snow me white. While that was drying I went to work on the decal. I stamped the image using Born Pretty Store stamping polish in black and then filled in the shoes using China Glaze – Daisy know my name and China Glaze – Treble maker. Once everything was dry I was able to apply the decal, topcoat everything and viola. I must just say, this reminded me once again how unforgiving these photos are. I can see so many flaws that were not even visible when I just looked at my nails. Even once I knew where they are I couldn’t see them. These photos are so extremely close and zoomed in. Yikes!! Anyway, I loved the image I used. I had so many different ideas so yo can bet you will see this image many more times.
Of course, I couldn’t just stop there so let me show you one more I did.
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Boho blues on all my nails. Once that was dry I stamped the little aeroplanes using MoYou stamping polish in white. I then stamped the same image (upside down) using Mundo de Unas – Nabu. Added topcoat and done. I really really liked how this came out. I love the image but when I combined them this way it almost looks like camo. I also have a swatch to show you.
China Glaze – Boho blues
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. It’s a beautiful creme. It was a little sheer on the first coat but built up well with the second. Formula was really good too.
What do you think? Don’t you think this plate has the cutest images? I am really in love with it. I kinda like the art I did too. What about you? Which image is your favourite? This stamp stamped really well too. If you want to grab this plate – or any of their other awesome goodies – for yourself you can use the discount code below for 10% off all your purchases
