Hi lovelies,
I mentioned in a previous post that I was planning on a little get together to play with polish and do some nail art. Well it is finally happening. I am really excited and super nervous at the same time.
Us Durban girls are always saying we miss out on events and functions that happen mostly in Johannesburg and Cape Town. So the Durban Polish party was born. I am arranging a little get together with fellow Durban ladies where we can play with polish. I often get a lot of questions and this way I can be right there to answer and show anything anyone would like to know. I will be sharing my nail care tips and tricks as well as doing a few ‘how-to’ sessions on some quick and easy nail art ideas. From simple and subtle to bright and bold. I will also be covering different techniques like stamping, taping, sponging etc. Of course, there will also be tons of polish to play and practice with.
There also a few amazing sponsors that have jumped on board to treat us to amazing goodies. There will also be some hampers up for grabs. Keep an eye out because I will update as and when details get finalised and to share with you who our sponsors are.
This will be the first of many events like these but for the first one I have limited the seats to 20 people. The tickets are R20 per person and all proceeds will be donated to the Movember Foundation (for prostate and testicular cancer). This way we can do something for the men in our lives while having a good time and learning something new.
The date is set for 30 November and the venue will be Blue Zoo (near Mitchell Park).

Essence – Pink & Proud
This is one of the new colours from Essence and I think this was made *just* for me! It is a lavender toned pink foil. Yes, I said foil. It is so gorgeous. Perfect formula with no brush strokes. I might be in love with this little bottle.
I stamped over Pink & Proud using Essence stampy polish in black and BM401 for the ‘ I heart nails” and BM402 for the little mo’s. Isn’t this a perfect depiction of the Durban Polish Party?
