Essence Sun Club eyeshadow palette

The lovely folks at Essence recently sent me the Sun Club eyeshadow palette in 02 – Long Beach.  I have been after this palette for a while now but I have only been able to find the Night Club palette in 03 – Dance-till-dawn, which is also so gorgeous.

One of the reason why I love this palette so much is because it is still pretty much in the neutral colour family but has a little more of a bang.  Once again I love the clear cover of the palette case.

These shadows are nicely pigmented and apply smoothly.  They also wear quite well.  I usually use eyeshadow primer and this really does make a difference to the wear of your eyeshadow.  I love that in this one little palette I can create a multitude of looks and keep it simple for daytime but also glam it up for night time.  It’s also the perfect size to pop in your makeup bag for your handbag or even to travel with.

Aren’t those colour gorgeous?  I love this palette for that little something extra.  Good quality and really affordable.  What more could you ask for?  I also really loved what they have done with the applicator that comes with the palette.  Once side is a brush and the other side is a sponge like applicator.  I don’t usually use the applicators that come with eyeshadow palettes but if you did then I think this one is really handy.
