Did you have a good weekend? What did you get up to? I am happy that I am finally on the mend and the weather has been nice and cool. That makes me a happy girl!
I mentioned the other day that I bought a few decals from Born Pretty Store and I am showing you one of them today. I decided to use China Glaze – Tart-y for the party as my base colour.
This is 2 easy coats with no topcoat. This is surprisingly opaque for the shade of lilac that it is. In the first coat it was almost completely opaque and smooth. Love this polish so much! I then added the decals. I cut each one out and then using water, applying it to the polish. These were a little different to ones I have used before as I I couldn’t wet it and then apply it against the nail and take the backing off. This way left the decals upside down. What I did was wet the decal in the water, separated the backing and then using a dotting tool or tweezer I applied it to my nail.
What do you think? I really like these decals that look like cut off circles. The colours are so bright and vibrant that it really pops too. I really loved wearing these and they definitely draw attention. Imagine the possibilities with different colours as a base.
You can find these decals here and don’t forget to use my 10% off coupon code for anything you order from Born Pretty Store. You can find it on the right side bar. Have a lovely Monday!
