Pastel gradient zig zags

Hello lovelies,

How has this week been treating you?  I won’t lie, today kinda snuck up on me.  I didn’t really have this nail art planned for today but I am unfortunately so behind and this was all I had prepared.  You may also have noticed the really short nails *sob*  I had a break a while ago and just as they were growing back I had another one.  I don’t usually mind short nails but this time it really bugs me.  Anyway, onto the nail art.

Like I said, I am still undecided about this.  I like the idea but….let me show you.

I started off with a base colour of Sinful Colors – Snow me white on my ring, middle and index. I then used 2 coats of Tip Top – Melting marshmallow on my pinky and 2 coats of Tip Top – Cha cha cha on my thumb.  When the white was completely dry I used some of my chevron nail vinyls from NailVinyls.com to make two zig zag lines on my middle and index fingers.  I  then did a sponged gradient using Tip Top – Melting marshmallow and Tip Top – Cha cha cha over the nail vinyls and immediately removing them while the polish was still wet.  I also did the same gradient on my ring finger.  When that was all done I top coated and bob’s your uncle.
