It’s down hill to the weekend! I’ve been having a really good week so far so it doesn’t really matter to me. I am excited for Friday though. I am off to get my next tattoo. 😉
I had this idea for a few days and when I finally did it everything went wrong. The first time one of my white nails turned yellow. So I redid that one nail and then bam, I stick my hand in spicy food and it stains the heck out of my nails again. So I redo it all and then take photo’s immediately. I didn’t love the stamping on the last attempt but I’m afraid it’s what you get 😛 Let me show you…
I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Snow me white on my index, middle and ring fingers and 2 coats of China Glaze – Electra magenta on my pinky. When that was all dry I used Essence – Not punky nor funky glitter topper on my ring finger. V mentioned she would like to see it over white and it made me realise it would be a perfect combination for this. I then stamped on my middle and index using China Glaze – Electra magenta and BM307. The butterflies on my index seem a little strange to me compared to my middle finger but at this point I was happy to just get anything on my nails 😛 Also, isn’t Electra Magenta so gorgeous? Let me show you.
China Glaze – Electra Magenta
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. It is a purple / berry shade packed with a tightly scattered holo. Absolutely stunning formula and opacity. This could easily be a one coater but of course, I always use two. In love with this! Advantage is it stamps really well too.
What do you think? Did I manage to save the butterfly skittlette? Do you also think Electra Magenta is gorgeous?
