It’s time for another double post day! 😀
It’s no secret that not only am I obsessed with stamping I also really love Bundle Monster plates. I add new sets to my wishlist almost as soon as they are released. I already have the new collection in my wishlist and I am already salivating to get my grubby little paws on them. In the mean time, I have the ‘Create Your Own’ 2014 set to show you today. I also have the 2013 CYO set which I showed you when I got it. It was a no brainer that I had to have this set too. I got this set very early in January and it took me a while to finally get to using it and this long to finally show it to you. It’s crazy!
This set consists of 20 plates. Each plate come with the blue plastic film covering as usual. This has to be peeled off before you use it.
And also comes with the paper backing that all Bundle Monster plates has
I really love Bundle Monster plates so of course they are all beautifully etched and the perfect size. All that is left is to show you the plates 😀
Some old school techno geeky images. Love it!
I love that image on the right and the glasses are so cute too!
I love the patterns on these. Very geometric and fun
And more! Love!
The dreamcatcher and the row of triangles are probably my favourite here but I love them all.
I really love these too. The top and left images especially.
Those birdies are super cute and I love the patchy image on the left. The bottom dotty one is amazing.
The cuteness of the feet! I also love the shattered glass image on the left and the wood grain one.
Seriously? How can you not love this one.
Galaxy image in a jiffy! Win!
This might be one of my favourite plates. I used this plate soon after I got it because dinosaurs!!!
That top image! I can’t even deal
I have a lot of plates with animal print but I am so glad to now have animal faces too. I love them.
Love the cats!
UNICORN!!!!!!!!! I don’t have to say any more.
Some pretty floral images.
Man I love this plate. Every. Single. Image!
Some more floral with a twist images.
Every polish addicts dream plate. I am obsessed with this one. Also, those buttons on the right, LOVE!
I really like the hearts at the top and the heart rhythm is also really cool.
What do you think of this set? Which are you favourite images? Of course, I had to do some nail art with it. Unfortunately I did mess it up a little bit and I had hoped to redo it (again – this wasn’t the first try) but unfortunately I ran out of time. I won’t mention the mistakes and hope you don’t notice too much 😛
I started with 3 coats of Morgan Taylor – Little misfit (yes, I bought this polish originally JUST for the name) on all my nails except on my ring finger which is 2 coats of Color Club – Harp on it. While that was drying I made the decals using BM619 and Nubar – Lavender, Nubar – Green tea and Nubar – Hot fuchsia to colour the polish bottles. While the decals were drying I stamped on my ring finger using BM619 and Essence stampy polish in black. On my middle finger I used the same image and stamped using Color Club – Harp on it. I then applied the decals to my index and pinky :/ and then topcaoted everything and called it a day.
What do you think? And lastly, some swatches.
Morgan Taylor – Little misfit
This is 3 coats with no topcoat. This is a duochrome. In the bottle you can see the purple to blue to green colour change with a hint of a gold. On my nails I didn’t really get the blue but it’s still so gorgeous. I originally bought this for the name because anything with ‘Misfit” or “Ordinary” in the title is a must have for me 😉 What a bonus that the polish is gorgeous too. I tried to get a better photo showing more of the colour shift and unfortunately this was the best I could do for now.
Here you can see more of the purple to green shift. It’s really gorgeous. The formula was great too. It’s a little sheer on the first coat but builds up really well. I am a big fan of this polish 😀
Let me know what you think.
Thanks for reading,
