Half way through the week already and it feels like I haven’t touched ground. How is your week going?
I popped into Dischem the other day and spotted a new Essence trend collection out. The bottles immediately grabbed my attention and I am just so lucky to have spotted them. You know my luck, I usually only spot them when they are already sold out of at least one colour. I picked these up just a few days ago so you should still definitely be able to find them. The whole collection is filled with gorgeous goodies, even the perfume smells delicious. They also have nail art stickers that are just the cutest! Let me show you the polishes.
Essence – Oh captain, my captain!
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. Isn’t this just the most gorgeous blue? Such a great formula and opacity too. It’s a perfect nautical themed polish. The colour isn’t super unique as it reminded of a few polishes I already have but it really is a gorgeous polish.
Essence – Crew first
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. I am such a sucker for shades like this. This reminds me of Sinful Colors – Easy going. It has a great formula and is really opaque for such a light colour. No streakiness or patches. I loooooove this one!
Essence – Miss Navy
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. Oh my goodness, is this not stunning. I wasn’t sure at first if it fit the nautical theme but it really looks gorgeous with the other colours. Its a very orange toned red or maybe a red toned orange. It’s gorgeous and I love it. Stunning opacity and formula. This colour also goes beautifully with all the other colours.
Essence – Ahoy, Boy!
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. I maybe actually be in love. This is such a gorgeous dark blue. The opacity is brilliant and you might even get away with 1 thick coat if you really wanted to. I am obsessed with this one. Can you see this paired with white? This is a perfect nautical colour, a perfect winter colour. Just perfect!
What do you think of these? Which one is your favourite? Have you spotted these yet? Please let me know if you want to see a comparison with any other polishes.
