NAILLINKUP: Oh Christmas tree

Hi lovelies,

Christmas is literally just hours away and I couldn’t think of a better time to wish you all a very merry Christmas filled with love and loved ones.  Please be safe wherever you may be.

So for today’s “Oh Christmas tree” there was a lot of tears and swearing. I just couldn’t do what I wanted to do.  After about 6 tries I called it quits and went with plan B. Let me show you what I did.

I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Snow me white on all my nails.  I then left that all to dry completely. I then used different sized dotting tools and Nubar – greener, Hean #200 And China Glaze – Passion to make dots in a Christmas tree pattern on my pinky and index.  On my middle and ring fingersI taped off the pattern and then watermarbled using Nubar – Greener and Hean #200.  I then topcoated and added a little gold star stud to the top of every ‘tree’.  What do you think?  I do have a swatch for you as well.

This is 2 coats with no topcoat.  Beautiful formula on this green packed with green shimmer.  It’s probably my favourite christmassy green ever!

So, what do you think of my trees?  After all the struggling I had trying to get plan A working I almost feel like this was too easy.
