Hi lovelies,
Happy New Year!!
In the blink of an eye 2015 has come and gone. What a year it has been. It has been a really tough year for me but it also had some great ups. Almost exactly a year ago today (a year and 2 days to be exact), I set out on a path to a healthier body. In the process I tried to find myself again. I met amazing people that I can call friends now. I reconnected with old friends and family. I had to make some really hard decisions. I fell a lot but I am still getting up each time, dusting myself off and trying again. Through it all, my blog has been a highlight. I have been a bad blogger too, I am so behind on blog reading and commenting. I fall behind in responding to comments and I have had to readjust my blogging schedule somewhat to lighten my load some days. Through it all I have worked with amazing people and brands, I have met fabulous readers and nail polish and nail art still make me very happy. Most of all, thank YOU, for sticking around through the year, for the support and encouragement. For making sure I don’t just talk to myself here. I appreciate you all so very much.
2016 has to be a great year. It has to be better than the last. There are some new things coming soon to this old blog but let’s hope 2016 holds many new collections, tons of swatches and nail art for daaayyyys! Thank you for sticking by me for another year. Love you all!!
Right, it’s time for another NailLinkup post. You can check out all the prompts on the poster below. Remember, the dates are just a guideline. You can also find more info about NAILLINKUP and the January prompts here.
New years eve…… I would love to see all your New Years nails too so please share them with me on Facebook or twitter or even instagram. Let me show you mine.
It’s really simple but I loved it. I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Black on black and left that to dry completely. I then used vinyls from Because I Shop – the 2016 – Monkey business set – and Morgan Taylor – It’s my party, making sure to peel off the vinyls immediately after applying the polish. I then topcoated and blinded myself with the shiny. Like I said, it’s really simple but I love it so much. It was sparkly and shiny and beautiful.
What do you think? Is it something you would wear? Happy New Year to all of you and I hope you have or had a safe and fabulous celebration. May this year kick ass for all of us!
