NAILLINKUP: Candyland

Hi lovelies,

Have you had a good week so far?  I am loving the cooler weather but I know there are some hot hot days coming up.  Yikes!

So today I am all about Candyland.  Or at least I thought I was.  I had these ideas of decals I was going to make and how I was going to put them together.  I then went through my stamping plates and realised I don’t have any of the images I needed.  Has that ever happened to you?  Where you thought you had a specific image but when you look you can’t find anything even close?  Happens to me ALL the time.  I must be dreaming up images 😛 Anyway, let me show you what I did end up with.

I started off with a sponged gradient using Sinful Colors – Snow me white and Sinful Colors – Black on black. Another gradient I hear you say?  Well yes.  I love gradients and have always found them really easy to do.  A while ago I couldn’t gradient to save my life.  For some reason every single time something went wrong.  So now that I seem to have my gradient mojo back I am going to take full advantage of it. Once the gradient was dry I stamped using BM421 and Mundo de Unas – Barbie on my pinky, Mundo de Unas – Tutti on my ring finger, Mundo de Unas – Sky blue on my middle finger.  On my index I used all three colours and randomly smooshed them together. I topcoated and that was that.  Of course these are supposed to represent the love hearts candy.
